Year 9 Dance & Music Excursion: Moulin Rouge

As part of the Music and Dance program at Nossal High School students will be exploring the Arts Hub in the Melbourne CBD, including the Victorian Arts Centre and Hamer Hall. They will then be attending the award winning Broadway musical Moulin Rouge at the Regent Theatre. Students will be encouraged to enjoy the story line, music, dancing and also the technical components of the show.

This event is opt in. Students are encouraged to attend, because this is an opportunity to attend a live theatre show at a fraction of the usual cost (due to a school group discount).

As this excursion is occurring after City Week, students will be expected to make their own way to the CBD. They will need to have a valid MYKI card with adequate funds to get themselves to the CBD and back. The students are also encourage to bring their own snacks, lunch and water (or money for lunch, which they will have time to purchase).

Students have been asked to meet their teachers at 10:00am at Flinders Street Station under the clocks (on the corner)

If a student is running late or has an query they can contact Ms Clare Budd or Ms Anita Coffa the day.

Dress Code: Full academic uniform to be worn to and from the venue.
CSEF funds or Credit balance can be used to pay for this event
Transport: Students will meet at Flinders Street Station under the clocks at 10:00am.

Further details of the itinerary will be shared directly with students via Teams.
