This event is an annual cricket match between Year 9 students from Nossal HS and Melbourne HS. It aims to continue and enhance the relationship between the two schools and celebrate the shared love of cricket. This event has not been held over the past few years and this will be the first time since we first encountered COVID that we will be able to play against each other.
Students will be outside for most of the day so will need to wear appropriate clothing for the conditions. They will also need to provide their own lunch. Students will bring their own cricket kit and other equipment needed for the game. The school will provide a first aid kit. Students will meet at Melbourne High school near their cricket ground. Most likely students will meet in the pavilion at MHS. Students will be notified if this changes. Melbourne High School – Forrest Hill, South Yarra.

Dress Code: Sports Uniform and/or Nossal Team Uniform. Students will play in white pants and Nossal PE Sports shirt. They may choose to travel to the venue in Nossal sports shorts if desired.

Transport: Students will need to make their own way to Melbourne High School. It is anticipated that most students will travel by train. If so they will need to check train timetables for any line closures and allow plenty of time. The match is scheduled to commence at 9.30am. To allow time for warm up, students should arrive at MHS no later than 8.45am. Students travelling by train will get off at South Yarra station and allow for a 10 minute walk to get to the ground. The game is scheduled to finish at 2.30pm. Accordingly it would be reasonable to assume that students have caught their respective train at some point around 3pm
