As part of our studies on traditional and contemporary artworks in Japan, students will have an opportunity to attend a workshop at the National Gallery of Victoria to learn about its cultural practice and history. After the one-hour workshop, we will head to the Consulate-General of Japan for an educational seminar on travelling in Japan. Students will be given information about fascinating spots to visit and discuss the possible activities that they can experience. Lastly, we will make our way to an authentic ramen restaurant for lunch.
Students will need to meet at the school group entrance of the NGV (180 St Kilda Road, Melbourne) no later than 9.45am. The school group entrance is located on the north side of the building, adjacent to the entrance to the Arts Centre. Please refer to the map for details. If students are running late, they can contact Ms Kamimura. Students will be dismissed between 2.00-2.30pm after lunch.
