The inaugural Terry Bennett Cup, run in 2011, pitted the Year 9 students of Nossal High School against the Year 9 students at Suzanne Cory High School (SCHS). Four teams consisting of the blue team composed of Garuda and Blackwood, the green team of Pegasus and Apollo, the red team of Phoenix and Kororoit, and the yellow team of Griffin and Rothwell compete to win the trophy.
