Each year the Frankston Susono Friendship Association holds an annual Japanese Speech Contest for primary and secondary students in the Frankston Region. The aim of this event is to encourage learners who are studying Japanese to showcase their language skills in a challenging context. It is an opportunity to express their thoughts and ideas in Japanese, and the speech preparation process provides a valuable learning experience. The presentation of the speech before an audience develops their confidence in speaking Japanese.

Venue: Lecture Theatre F101, Monash University, Peninsula Campus
Students to meet their teacher at the registration in front of Lecture Theatre F101. Students who are lost or running late should contact Ms Kamimura, remembering to include their full name in any SMS they may send.

7.30 – 9.00 pm SECONDARY SCHOOL DIVISION CONTEST & AWARD CEREMONY
