This Casey Youth Summit is an annual event that brings together students from across Casey to share ideas, discuss issues affecting their communities and collaborate on solutions. This year’s theme is “Empower, Educate, Engage: Building a better future with youth” Drawing on this year’s theme, we look forward to the creative and innovative ideas that the students will bring to the table.
The summit will feature a keynote speaker, engaging life skills and art-based workshops, lunchtime engagement activities and networking opportunities for participants.
There is no registration fee for the summit and lunch will be provided for all participants. Students have already provided their dietary information which has been passed on to the organisers.
We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to engage your students in meaningful and enriching life experiences.
This will be a student led activity and students will be expected to find their own way to the venue and back home when they are completed. Students who nominated themselves are encouraged to write a report for the next newsletter and also for the magazine at the end of the year.
If there is a problem and students are unable to attend for some reason, they need to contact me (ZYL) via Teams.
