Year 12 Business Management - Denimsmith Excursion
This excursion to Denimsmith in Brunswick will provide the students with an insight into the operations management/production process of a high quality good. This supports the students" study of core business activities and operations systems in Unit 3. The students will then travel with their teachers to Melbourne"s CBD, where they will undertake further investigations into operations systems used by service providers.
Students will meet their teachers outside Parliament station and they will then take public transport to the Denim Smith factory/store.
They will then have a short walk to the factory to meet their teachers.
After this part of the excursion, the group will travel to Melbourne"s CBD for lunch and to complete further Business Management work on operation systems.
Full School Uniform
Students will travel on public transport and meet their teachers outside Parliament station (Bourke Street Exit) and they will then take public transport to the Denim Smith factory/store (96 Tram) with their teachers.
They will then return to the CBD via tram to undertaken the second part of the excursion (investigation into operations system).
Students will be dismissed from Melbourne and will make their own way home.
Students should contact Miss Kee if they are late, have difficulties with transport, or are unwell and can"t attend on the day.
