Unit 1 & 2 Legal Studies Court Visits
The students can see and experience the real world of the criminal justice system, especially in regard to the operation of the courts and sentencing practices. This excursion clearly links with Unit 1 and 2 VCE Legal studies curriculum. The students will make their own way to the courts using public transport, where they will meet up with their teachers. The students will be provided with the mobile phone numbers of their supervising teacher.
Students will meet their teachers by 8.45am outside the County Court on the Corner of Williams Street and Lonsdale Street.
Students should bring money for lunch and are not to bring bags (a small handbag is okay) or bulky items as they will not be permitted into the courts.
Dress Code: Full academic uniform
Transport: Student's make their own way to the courts using public transport
