Dolphin Research Institute- Litter trap catchment workshop

The students are part of the Dolphin Research Institutes Dolphin Ambassadors program. On this excursion the students will be observing a litter trap emptying process, looking at fresh water invertebrates, water testing and assisting with primary school students. (Junior Ambassadors).

Students to bring notebooks and cameras. Students will need to bring a water bottle and food for lunch and all snacks.

Dress Code:

Sports uniform with sturdy shoes that may get wet and muddy or Gumboots. Students need to have additional clothing for wet and or cold conditions. Please bring a spare set of shoes and socks.


Students will travel to and from Mornington in Ms Leeann Lees (staff member) private vehicle. A permission form agreeing to this will be sent home to students for parent/guardian to sign. On the day students will return to Nossal by 3.45 but this will depend on the weather.
