11BI01 Field Trip to the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne
Students will conduct a field study that will enhance their knowledge and understanding of Australian plant adaptations. They will also learn how to conduct a transect study.
Students should bring their own lunch, water bottle, sunscreen and hat. They can bring a small, dark-coloured backpack. They will need a digital camera or a smartphone because they need to keep photographic records of their observations to upload into their fieldwork reports. If a student is going to be absent on the day they should call Nossal's student absence line or Ms Ball.
Buses will transport students to and from the gardens. They will meet in the courtyard of the school at 8.50AM. They will be returned to school shortly after 3PM.
